In Lancaster, the busiest hours are Friday and Saturday evenings and any night with a big game, when quoted delivery times can stretch past an hour; ordering before 5 p.m. or picking up yourself avoids the wait. Delivery radiuses are small, often two to five miles, and a minimum order plus a delivery fee is normal, with a tip of a few dollars for the driver on top. Lunch specials such as two slices and a drink, or a personal pie, are the cheapest way to eat at most shops across Pennsylvania on weekdays. Toppings are priced per item and half-and-half pies are usually free to request. Gluten-free crusts and vegan cheese are increasingly common but often cost a few dollars extra, and cross-contact in a shared oven is standard unless the shop says otherwise.

Ordered the waffle fries, very very good. Got a large pizza it was good but not worth coming as far as we did. Also ordered some bread and it was nice and crunchy. My elderly friend was not offered a receipt and the cashier kept disappearing since we were the only customers there. She wasn’t offered a receipt so she came around to try to see the order total and got scolded. I wanted to like this place but I feel that the employee overreacted. Please be nice to your elderly customers. Will not be back. Edit: Owners are saying that we walked away and couldn’t be offered a receipt. If they checked the footage then they would be able to see that we walked like 5 feet to our table and back. I appreciate the apology but it’s common business sense to offer people a receipt after they pay. Especially if they are dinning in.

We did takeout, but really it has a cozy atmosphere inside. There are slices to choose from that look incredible. Great selection on the menu. Order was ready fast with no problems: classic pepperoni, mozzarella sticks, and Greek salad. The marinara is a thinner base for the sticks, but still good. Drink selections were plenty with bottle to fountain. The spot is a bit hidden, but business has a sign/flag at the road entrance.

Stopped in tonight for the first time, highly recommend!! We got the Margherita Pizza and a Calzone, both were extremely well cooked and seasoned. So yummy!!! πŸ˜‹ They have desserts including cannoli's and cakes, and multiple drinks to choose from. I'll definitely be back!

We had the best Sicilian pizza here! It was incredible. We had a few other items also. And they were all πŸ”₯. Don’t 😴 on this establishment, they know β€œhow to food”. Just trying to figure out when we can get back for another round amazing food!

I love my pizza and have tried around over the years. Upon arrival, the establishment is both classy and crisp - You already know you found the right spot. The service has always been great. I have eaten there multiple times now, though all I have had from Zags thus far is the pizza and garlic knots, and I will say it's the best I have eaten in Lancaster, both pizza and garlic knots. The dough is good, making for a nice crispy and airy crust. The tomoato sauce is very tasty, pairing well with their fresh mozzarella. Its not too thick and its not too thin, along with a nice overall texture to go with it. All of their pizzas include garlic and parmesain cheese. The garlic knots are soo soft, puffy and delicious that you might forget to eat your pizza. They are more like garlic puffs than garlic "knots!" πŸ˜‹ I order Cheese Pizza (sometimes with red onion- I am not big on meat toppings) and also load it up with additional the table top condiments. I have referred several people to Zags and they have ALL reported back that they enjoyed it. You already kmow its going to be good as soon as you step inside. This is Italian Pizza, not New York-Style, and it's the real deal. Keep up the good
